Hello Friday: Day 1

On this week's Hello Friday, I'll recommend K.will's "Day 1"

I really love this music video. Of course, Park Minwoo...but besides that, K.will did a good job on this song. Soyu is really pretty too :)

The song is about a guy who is eager to win the heart of someone he loves. Watch the MV and see how Minwoo portrays it. I'm sure you'll melt in his adorable smile.

Hello Friday: Meet You on Friday

It's Fridaaaaay! And today is the first Friday of the year. Yaaay! Happy New Year everyone and I hope you'll have a prosperous and blessed 2015 :)

It's been a while since I last shared an MV. I chose IU's 'Meet You on Friday' because I suddenly remembered this song (for no reason) and searched for its lyrics. It summarizes exactly how I feel every time. It may not be particularly about waiting for Friday because you'll meet someone special but because I love Fridays. I basically love weekends where I can just hang out with family...and sleep.

Who wouldn't love a good weekend rest, right?

If you want to have a perfect vacation, then, K-Festival 2014 during September 19-21 is for you! The event will be at the New Activity Center, Glorietta 2, Makati City.

K-Festival 2014 is organized by the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) and Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) and sponsored by the Korean Embassy, PTAA, Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Jeju Air and Cebu Pacific Air. There will be 20 travel booths showing the best of what Korea has to offer.

K-Festival 2014 is the perfect opportunity to check out the best deals and the most interesting tours around Korea.

They offer three daebak travel themes
(travel zones that await you)
1. Ski Korea - you can check out ski tour packages and air tickets by airlines and travel agent
2. K-Beauty & Wellness - offers free beauty consultations where you can check your hair and skin age as well as browse through options on the K-Beauty & Wellness tour
3. Hallyu Zone - it features a display on the hit Koreanovela "My Lover from the Star" with a list of Hallyu packages where you can visit the shooting sites of the drama.

That's not all! KTO have special gifts to those who will purchase airline tickets or Korea tour packages during the K-Festival.

Visitors to the fair can also experience traditional Korean culture by donning the Hanbok and playing the Tuho game. There are also standees of Hallyu stars which is perfect for selca/selfies in the Hallyu Zone. I'll definitely check that out!

Wow Korea Supporter 2014

Annyeong yorobeun! I was a bit busy the past few weeks and I wasn't able to blog. But last night, I received an e-mail saying that I got in the list of 50 Wow Korea Supporters, which is a really good news. I love Korea, its culture, music, dramas and movies. If ever I'll be able to do well with it and win, it'll be a really good opportunity for me especially it is Korea-related.

Again, thanks KTO-Manila for this opportunity. I will do well and I hope I can help in your promotion.
Visit Korea Tourism Organization Manila Office links here:

And also follow Philippine Kpop Convention here: https://www.facebook.com/philkpopcomm

I promise to update more often soon! Anyway, if you happen to be a communication student and will be attending ICCS tomorrow, see you there! :)

5 Reasons Why You Should Watch "Miracles in Cell No.7"

I think I first heard of this movie when I was zapping channels and saw its trailer on Showbiz Korea in Arirang. I thought it was nice and cute, but I didn't immediately watch it. After that episode in EXO Showtime where they watched this movie. They cried, of course, well except Lay because he was asleep that time. I downloaded and watched the movie. I shared it to my sister and we watched together. Inulit niya pa yung movie quite a few times. I tried to tell the people that this movie is really good but they didn't really bothered.

And kanina, we were just talking about this movie because Mave was so crazy about it and continuously bothers us by his 'Sailormoon 가방' (bag) expression. So ayun, I want to share some reasons why you should watch it too.

1. It is a tearjerker
I cried. My sister cried. EXO cried. And everyone on the internet that has watched this movie.
This is a really heartbreaking movie. So make sure to have loads of tissue with you.

2. It is cute
It portrays the love a parent to his child and how she loves him back. It also portrays good friendship among the men in cell no7. And Sowon is really cute.

3. Park Shinhye
Love The Heirs? You'll love this movie too.

4. It talks about society
It is about family, friendship, injustices. It also imparts the importance of education.

5. Everyone's talking about it
Okay, not everyone, but a lot of people posted on the SNS accounts that they really loved the movie. Besides, Ryu Seungryung is a really good actor.

Hello Friday: BOMTANABA

Hello Friday! I'm glad it's almost the end of the week. Survived my first week in class. Aaaah, it feels so good. I'm now a senior college student, graduation is soon to come, but the road to reach that destination is not an easy one.

About this week, (I'm quite tired and feeling lazy soooo...hehe)

As for the music video, it's Seo Inguk's turn. This is titled as 봄 타나봐 (BOM TA NA BA) translated as 'Mellow Spring'. It is such a cute mv, a really good concept. Cute song for good vibes! Stay happy and positive yorobeun! :)

Hello Friday: Just The Way You Are

Annyeong yorobeun! It's Friday, one of the most anticipated days of the week. Since I don't blog a lot because I barely have anything to share about myself, I decided to write every Friday, sum up what happened in my week and share any music video. I don't know what to name this but I guess 'Hello Friday' is a good start, right? I'll also be naming it with the MV's title. Don't worry, MVs won't be the typical and popular ones. I'll choose well. So please look forward to more posts, I'll share more things about me, my fandom, and random stuff. Enjoy!

So, about this week, I just stayed at home, mostly. Last Monday, I went to Ideal Minds for my internship. I wrote articles, but I can't work well, new people and I had no laptop to use so I just borrowed one. I also felt sick because I woke up early to first go to Land Transportation Office in Calamba to get my Student Permit, but it didn't work well since they're offline. At ang sungit nung guy, I wish his wrinkles will show up soon. At since it's almost 9am, we ate brunch, idk. And went to Halang, and waited for a bus. Lahat sila punuan since "It's Monday".

Next days, I just did my articles at home. Well, at least I finally had accomplished something when I got my Student's Permit. I can now drive yo, well not that...그럼!

Ah! Something to share...Don't ever attempt going to shopping malls on sale days when you're saving for a concert. It's like digging your own grave. A battle between your bias and that glowing 50% off tag.

This week's music video will be Jung Joon Young and Younha's Just The Way You Are. I first heard it on k2nblog, I hurriedly downloaded it, saw the mv, and the feels are all over me. It's just a beautiful song. And it's a must to share it because it's so daebak!

Anyway, I heard Jung Joon Young is somewhere in Manila right now. He visited his taekwondo students before, if I'm not mistaken. Basta, I want to see him. We breath in the same polluted air. Omo!

And good luck to us all sa may pasok na sa Monday!
